HVAC Lead Installer – $25–$35/hr + Benefits | Jacob Heating and Cooling

Location:1324 Frey Road, Penn Hills, PA 15235
Full-Time

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–4 PM (occasional weekend on-call rotation, with additional pay)

 Pay: $25–$35/hour (based on experience)

Position Overview

We’re looking for an experienced HVAC Lead Installer to take charge of residential and light commercial installation projects from start to finish. You’ll lead an install helper, interact directly with homeowners, and ensure every job is done to the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction while following our companies mission. 

Responsibilities

On the Job Site:

• Greet customers and explain the installation process
• Oversee all aspects of the HVAC install project
• Measure and order ductwork as needed
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe workspace<
• Test and verify proper system operation
• Complete final walkthrough and cleanup with the customer

Behind the Scenes:

• Maintain a clean and stocked company van
• Update job progress in Housecall Pro
• Collect payment, signatures, and email invoices
• Upload photos for job documentation
• Apply company branding to completed installs
• Communicate with the Install Manager on project status
• Handle tech support claims when required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of HVAC installation experience
• EPA Certification(Required)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to read blueprints and install to code
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Comfortable using mobile job management tools
